This Privacy Policy describes how the ACSA EPA 608 Prep mobile application (the "App") collects, uses, and protects information when you use our services. By downloading or using the App, you agree to the practices described in this policy.

The ACSA EPA 608 Prep is designed with your privacy as a priority. The App operates primarily offline and stores your study data locally on your device. We collect minimal information:
- Study Progress Data: Your study progress — including completed topics, practice test scores, and flashcard mastery — is stored locally on your device and is not transmitted to our servers.
- App Preferences: Settings such as dark mode and display preferences are stored locally on your device.
- Device Information: We may collect basic, anonymized device information (such as device type, operating system version, and app version) for the purpose of improving App performance and compatibility.
- Crash & Performance Data: If enabled, the App may collect anonymized crash reports and performance metrics through Apple's standard analytics frameworks to help us identify and fix issues.
Information We Do Not Collect
We want to be clear about what we do not collect:
- We do not collect your name, email address, or other personally identifiable information.
- We do not require account creation or login.
- We do not track your location.
- We do not collect or access your contacts, photos, camera, or microphone.
- We do not sell, share, or rent any user data to third parties.
- We do not serve advertisements within the App.
How We Use Information
Any information collected is used solely for the following purposes:
- To provide and maintain the App's functionality.
- To improve App performance, stability, and user experience.
- To diagnose technical issues and fix bugs.
Data Storage & Security
Your study progress and preferences are stored entirely on your device using standard local storage mechanisms provided by the iOS operating system. We do not maintain external databases of user information. If you uninstall the App, all locally stored data will be permanently deleted.
We implement reasonable technical safeguards consistent with industry standards to protect any information that may be transmitted, though no method of electronic storage or transmission is 100% secure.
Third-Party Services
The App may utilize the following third-party services, each governed by their own privacy policies:
- Apple App Store: Distribution and download of the App is subject to Apple's Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.
- Apple Analytics: If you have opted in through your device settings, Apple may collect anonymized usage data. You can control this in your device's Privacy settings.
Children's Privacy
The App is intended for individuals pursuing HVACR technician certification and is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we become aware that we have inadvertently collected such information, we will take steps to delete it promptly.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or for other operational, legal, or regulatory reasons. Your Rights
Since we collect minimal data and store information locally on your device, you maintain full control over your data at all times. You can reset all study progress within the App's Settings screen or uninstall the App to remove all associated data from your device.
